R1.2bn Tourism Equity Fund launched to bolster transformation
New funding source for black-owned small businesses and entrepreneurs in an industry hard-hit by Covid-19.
President Cyril Ramaphosa announced plans to launch the fund in his State of the Nation Address last February, before the pandemic dealt a severe blow to both established and emerging participants in the sector.
